Hotel Nututun Palenque

Oh man, the vermicelli was a flavor explosion! Plus, the beautiful grounds by the river are a true slice of paradise, and the snack bar was a lifesaver for quick bites while lounging by the lovely pool.

Now, about the air conditioning-it was like a blast from the past, and those plastic sheets were a bit too much.

You can swim in a river in the hotel. The hotel restaurant is good and not expensive

Big size and overall clean venue with a good value and excellent and amiable staff. Got large and fairly quiet room with pleasant views over a well maintained garden and climate control, a safe box, and multi-channel television. Comfortable bedroom provided, very mediocre experience, late check-out. Location just off Palenque quiet, manicured lawns, tropical blooms, a secluded pool, a meandering river, and lovely restaurant, the whole ' jungle ' feel, and the ruins at Palenque.

The restaurant was OK and the staff there was good. Two bottles of water in the room each day.

We had a superior room. The room looks better on the pictures. In the reality it is not so new and clean. White walls with minimum furniture. No beach (pool) towels provided. The stuff doesn't speak English.

The location sits beautifully by the river, surrounded by lush trees. The pool area feels inviting, although the regular swimming pool could use more space. The staff was helpful. They even assisted us when our car had a flat tire. This kindness. The room was outdated. The air conditioning struggled to cool effectively, and we experienced issues with the shower that took time to resolve.

The airport was 0.5 miles away from here, exceptionally nice and quiet location. There were climate control, a safe box, and multi-channel television in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that.

I enjoyed the beautiful grounds rich in animal life and the natural swimming pool where locals gather. The staff were friendly, even going out of their way to assist with my flat tire. Their kindness.

Now, about the air conditioning-it was like a relic from the 70s. Honestly, I think I heard it crank up a couple of decades ago!

This place was an appropriate option for a short layover in Palenque with good value considering the price. The natural swimming pool was a pleasant surprise and added a nice touch to our stay. Make sure to go exploring in the gardens for some wildlife sightings.

The grounds were stunning with a beautiful river nearby and a lovely pool. the dining options were quite limited, felt a bit off from the photos shown.
